Emily Copeland is a Canadian visual artist, specializing in realism. Mainly working with charcoal, she focuses on recreating objects on a larger scale. Emily attended art schools her entire life, starting at Lester B. Pearson, and then H. B. Beal, Secondary School. In 2015, she recently completed her undergraduate degree at Western University, where she finished her Honors Specialization in a Bachelors of Fine Arts. In August 2015, Emily began her professional career as a full time artist. She started a vintage sports equipment theme, and in 2016 she continues to work with different vintage/retro items. She hopes to please a wide range of audiences with the objects she choses. Just a year out of graduating, she got taken on to have a First Look show at the Bernarducci Meisel Gallery in New York City, one of the most prestigious galleries in the world for contemporary realism. She will be having her first look show there in the spring of 2017. www.emilycopelandartistry.com
